BEYOND THE SEARCH

We are not just identifying schools.
We are designing successful futures.

Navigating the Swiss school system requires more than just good intentions; it demands a clear strategy. We accompany families through the complex educational landscape, ensuring that every decision contributes to long term academic success and seamless local integration. Transforming the fragmentation of the Swiss system into a structured advantage for your child and family.

Our Expertise

Als Schweizer Beratung sind wir selbstverständlich auch auf Deutsch und Schweizerdeutsch für Sie da.

  • Moving to Switzerland involves complex educational choices. We assist international families in navigating the transition between foreign school systems and the Swiss educational landscape.

Whether you are settling in Zurich, Zug, Lausanne, Geneva or any other canton on Switzerland we clarify the legal and residency implications for school access.

We design "Bridging Year" or "Gap Year" strategies to close academic gaps, ensuring your child meets the language and structural requirements for a successful start in either the public or private sector.

  • We guide families through the competitive landscape of Swiss private and boarding schools.

Our process goes beyond a simple school search; we develop a comprehensive admissions strategy tailored to your child. This includes a thorough pre screening of institutions, verifying academic eligibility and advising on the entire application process.

  • When a student loses motivation or feels disconnected from their current school environment, a strategic change is often necessary.

We specialize in complex educational history cases, helping students who have experienced a loss of trust or academic stagnation. By analyzing the "Child Environment Fit," we identify settings that restore the joy of learning. We support families in switching between school systems and define the necessary pedagogical framework to support students with specific motivational or organizational challenges.

  • Our consulting extends beyond secondary school to post diploma planning. We support young adults in defining their future, whether through academic or vocational routes.

    • University Admissions: Strategic planning for specialized fields including residency planning, consulting on the recognition of foreign diplomas.

    • Vocational & Practical
For students seeking non academic paths, we identify high quality practical training programs (such as Hospitality Management and many more) that foster professional maturity and independence.

  • Before making any decisions, we establish a shared factual foundation. We conduct a comprehensive review of your child’s academic history, including transcripts, teacher feedback, and psychological reports.

We create a structured "Educational Curriculum Vitae" that objectively maps out strengths, learning progressions, and potential challenges. This independent assessment ensures that all future educational decisions are grounded in reality rather than assumptions.

  • A successful start involves more than just the right school. We help your child thrive socially by identifying the right sports clubs, arts programs, or music conservatories to match their talents.

Additionally, we assist you in establishing reliable childcare concepts to guarantee a balanced and smooth daily routine for the entire family.

  • Exclusive Partnership: Through our strategic cooperation with ZWEI Wealth, we offer independent financial planning tailored to relocating families. This service supports you with financial structuring and wealth management questions alongside your educational decisions.

Demonstrating Our Integrated Advisory Model

From Dubai to Switzerland: a full family relocation with educational strategy at its centre

In 2025, a family of five relocated from Dubai to Switzerland following the father’s appointment to a new corporate role. With three children aged 4, 10 and 15, the family required carefully matched school placements that reflected each child’s age, academic background, language profile and long-term aspirations, while also needing structured support for childcare, extracurricular planning and the practical realities of settling into a new country.

From Dubai to Switzerland case overview
A visual snapshot of the family’s relocation journey, showing how educational planning formed part of a wider transition strategy across school placement, integration and long-term family support.

What we supported

Our work began with a detailed family assessment covering prior schooling, curriculum background, language skills and each child’s likely educational pathway in Switzerland. This allowed us to build a strategy that combined immediate placement needs with a coherent longer-term plan rather than treating each decision in isolation.

Based on this assessment, we pre-selected suitable schools, coordinated and attended visits, and supported the family throughout the admissions journey through to enrolment. Alongside academic placement, we also recommended carefully chosen activities to help the children build confidence, routines and social connections in their new environment.

Because relocation rarely happens in neatly separated categories, we worked in parallel with trusted specialists handling visa, tax and housing matters so that educational decisions remained aligned with the wider move and its timing.

Our role continued well beyond admission. During the first year, we monitored academic progress and integration, adjusted arrangements where necessary, and remained the family’s primary educational advisor throughout the transition.

Outcome
This level of coordinated support enabled the parents to focus fully on their professional transition while knowing that the educational and social needs of all three children were being managed strategically and continuously.

How the process unfolded

1

Initial situation

A relocating family with three children of different ages needed age-appropriate school placements, childcare support, extracurricular recommendations and practical guidance for settling into Switzerland.

2

Strategic assessment

We conducted a comprehensive family review, analysed academic history and future goals, and created a personalised educational strategy covering both immediate placement and long-term direction.

3

School search and admissions

We identified suitable institutions, organised and attended school visits, guided the admissions process, and supported enrolment decisions for all three children.

4

Cross-functional coordination

At the same time, we aligned closely with external experts responsible for visa, tax and housing matters so the relocation timeline remained coordinated across all areas.

5

Ongoing advisory and monitoring

After admission, we continued advising the family, monitored academic and social integration during the first year, and adjusted arrangements where required.

This case illustrates how educational consulting can become a central pillar of a successful family relocation when school selection, integration and broader transition planning are treated as one connected process.
